Yesterday, one of the kids yelled from upstairs, “MOM, WHAT’S THE OPPOSITE OF LOGICAL?”
And she said, “ILLOGICAL.”
And at the same time I said, “PINEAPPLE.”
And everyone just looked at me.
The opposite of logical.

My understanding is that these Koons inflatable toys are actually not inflatable in the slightest but solid steel sculptures impeccably imitating pool toys, is that true? How fitting for it to hang in Versailles somehow, I’ve seen this piece hung in a blank white gallery space and it wasn’t nearly as cool. But I should expect nothing less from the best blog ever to cover America from France.
